Mr Parker and Big Possum

Writer's picture: stacywhitehorsestacywhitehorse

Mr Parker is a little brushy abandoned by his mum in May Park. The little possums in May Park are often inbred due to the location, highway on one side, motels, fast food shops and houses on the other side. Currently he isn't presenting with any obvious signs of genetic problems but over the course of his growth and possum education, I'll watch for signs. Hopefully he'll be able to return home to may Park.

Big Possum on the other hand has been clipped by a train and has a head injury. He'll visit the vet to do some neurological testing tomorrow and decisions on his future will be determined then. Fingers crossed he can go home too.
