Can't believe it's September already! Mr. Parker has grown up and left home to join the wild possums. Big Possum unfortunately crossed the Rainbow Bridge unable to recover from his head injuries although he did try.

Currently in care are 3 joeys, all at different stages of development. Pippa and Laura have begun their soft release and are heading off to the bush every now and again. Dolly is still pouch bound for a little while yet. There's also been a parliament of owls coming in. Boobooks and Barn Owls. They get tangled up in barbed wire fences and their recovery is minimal. Every one is a learning opportunity to try that little bit extra for them.

Snake season is up an running but so far I have only seen lizards basking. Early days yet!
